Tottenham FoodBank

We have been contacted by the Trussell Trust who would like our support, please find more information below.

The Trussell Trust, Freedoms Ark Church and Crutch Haringey (part of Citizens Advice Haringey) are due to open the new Tottenham Food Bank at Tottenham Town Hall over the next two months. The food bank will replace the previous Trussell Trust one that operated out of the Selby Centre before its closure.

We are currently reaching out to local organisations to seek support for the work the food bank will be carrying out, primarily through organising food donations around Harvest festival, Christmas and through publicising the work to stakeholders.

On Saturday 14th September 2019 between 11.30am and 3pm, the day of Spurs v Palace, we will be hosting a Food Donation Drive outside Tottenham Town Hall, a short walk from Seven Sisters Station.

We will be aiming this at supporters of both Spurs and Palace who are in the area on match day.

I was hoping that your branch would support this event through it's social media platforms, newsletters and any other method of communications it currently shares with it's members.
